In this BRAND NEW training you’ll learn:

What is a craving and what is it telling our body?

We all have cravings or intense desires for things. But what does this actually mean and where does this signaling come from? We jump into the basics of defining feeling and understanding our need to fulfill them one way or another.

Why these cravings manifest in sugar/carb cravings specifically?

It's not all in your head.

The intense sugar and carb cravings are very real, especially in early sobriety. The first step is understanding the physiological and psychological changes that happen when we remove alcohol that are creating these cravings in the first place.

How to start building informed habits in sobriety without sugar

Once we understand how and why these cravings are occuring in the body, we can begin to dive into solutions. I have developed a 3 pillar approach to crushing these cravings:

Healthy Food Substitutes

Replacement Habits

Gut Support

WHO IS LORA?

A bit more about your Host and Founder of

The Science of Sober

Started at the bottom now we're here...

I have a professional resume based in science, cognitive behavior, food management, and I'm a certified mental wellness coach.

I am also over 5 years sober, and did so cold turkey without any traditional supportive tools (AA, Rehab, Therapy, etc).

I basically raw-dogged my sobriety.

While this was a HARD approach, it taught me the most and required me to develop a high level of self-aware and curiousity around my own behavior.

The Science of Sober combines my professional and personal experience to bring a no BS approach to understanding our bodies and behaviors after booze.

There is no one-size-fits-all in sobriety, but there are a few things I know to be true:

- The answers are within you

-The power to change is within you

-And the knowledge you need to bridge the gap is available to you if you seek it
